This album is connected to my roots: Church music, classical singing and the flute! I'm singing & playing in duet with myself, something I wanted to do for the longest time. The music was recorded at home during a time of deep introspection, right after a silent retreat. My hope is that it carries the true spirit of 'christ consciousness' - free from the burdens that church has placed on it.

“This album means so much to me because I grew up in a household where some of the family members couldn't accept me as I was (I didn't meet the religious standards) so I had a pretty conflicting relationship with religion, specifically christianity, although I consider myself very spiritual and spirituality is important to me. It's kind of sad to say that you're the first person I've seen & heard that talks about religion so purely and without imposition. I really felt the truth you wanted to carry forward, without the mask and bad stuff, just pure and raw. So thank you very much for purifying that wound, kind soul!”

What is is lossless music and why is it important?
Music files are quite big so usually they are compressed into a smaller mp3 format (for online streaming like Spotify & Youtube). Studies have found that this changes the emotional connection we have to the music. It makes the negative emotions stronger and reduces the positive ones. Listening to compressed music also takes up brain power. Therefore, listening to music in its original uncompressed form leads to a much more profound listening experience. Choose formats like CDs, Vinyl or lossless downloads and lossless streaming platforms (f.ex. Deezer or Tidal).
